Opendoor Named Title Sponsor of the 2026 Pickleball World Championships

Opendoor, a leading e-commerce platform for residential real estate transactions, has been announced as the official title sponsor of the 2026 Pickleball World Championships, scheduled to take place at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas from October 30 to November 8. The event will now be known as the 2026 Opendoor Pickleball World Championships.
Pickleball is America’s fastest-growing sport for the fifth straight year, with 24.3 million Americans playing in 2025, according to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association. It has grown by bringing communities together in neighborhood parks and on community courts across the country. That makes it a natural fit for Opendoor, a company built to make it easier for people to find their community and move on their terms.
The 2026 Opendoor Pickleball World Championships is the sport’s marquee event. The 2025 championships drew more than 60,000 fans and a record 4,400 participants from 38 countries, competing in more than 6,000 matches.
“Pickleball is a platform for bringing people together, fostering community, and creating a lasting impact far beyond the competition itself. In alignment with these values, we are so excited to partner with Opendoor as the title sponsor of the 2026 Pickleball World Championships,” said Connor Pardoe, Founder and CEO of the Carvana PPA Tour. “This partnership represents the kind of community-focused collaboration that elevates the Opendoor Pickleball World Championships and gives fans an experience they’ll remember for generations.”
Between four and six million American homes change ownership every year. Each one is a family moving for a job, for more space, or for their first shot at owning a home. But selling and buying is just the beginning of the move. The real payoff is the new life built in a new place: meeting the neighbors, learning the streets, and finding the people who share your interests. Pickleball has become one of the most loved ways Americans do that. At open play courts, players stack their paddles in a rack and rotate in with whoever is next, making it easy for anyone to join a game. Opendoor gets families into the home. Communities like pickleball are where the rest of it happens.
“Our whole business is making it easy for Americans to sell and buy on their timeline. But we know that’s just step one. Communities get stronger with more homeowners, and for every new homeowner the move is finished when you know the people around you,” said Morgan Brown, Chief Growth Officer at Opendoor. “Americans love coming together over pickleball. Opendoor makes it easy for families to move whenever life demands it, and the community they find on the other side is the part that matters most. This championship is that community at its best, and we’re proud to put our name on it.”
Opendoor’s branding will appear in the kitchen on Championship Court, the no-volley zone at the net and the most visible branding position in every televised match. The partnership also includes activation space on Pickleball Boulevard, where fans can take part in pickleball and brand experiences, brand visibility across hospitality and VIP areas, and meet-and-greets with professional players. Both companies will run joint marketing throughout the event to extend their shared commitment to the communities the sport has built.
